                                          Mindful Monkeez Fun & Games provides

                                          quality 'relaxation through play' classes for

                                          children and young people, and is a fun way

                                          for them to learn to accept themselves just

                                          as they are. Mindful Movement and

 Meditation for adults is a great way for adults to de-stress.

​

 Mindfulness helps us to cope more effectively with difficulty, helps

 reduce anxiety, depression and pain improving mental wellbeing.

 The classes are set out to capture the imagination, 

 enhance the ability to self-regulate emotions,

 thoughts, feelings and behaviour and strengthen

 self-worth, confidence and compassion for self and

 others. Classes help improve the ability to focus

 and concentrate, increases self-belief and communication skills and  enhances skills to  care for the world around us.

 There is a great deal of pressure in this day and age  to ‘do well’

 in life, to get the best grades, to have the best house, car, job, body,                        which can have a detrimental effect on emotional and

                      mental well-being and perception of self. Children can

                      grow up feeling they are some how flawed if they 'fail'

                      to have the best of everything, that their very being is

                      not good enough, which can, and often does, carry over into adulthood.

 Mindful Monkeez classes teach all ages how to cope with difficulty,

 reduce stress and learn to like and love ourselves just as we are,

 helping us to be more confident in who we are, thus promoting  resilience, self-care and enhancing good emotional and mental

 wellness.
